Not that I expect you all to care….but for my Grandma and parents who do - this was my weekend:

Friday when I got off of work…my wonderful husband, father-in-law and many neighbors had worked feverishly on our house to make it look like a house again! Good job everyone!

It may be sour…but it is soooooo GOOD!

I feel bad I did not find this in time for Independence Day - but we are still close enough and who doesn’t like the muppets?!?!?

First off on Friday I was treated to all kinds of icecream from the Ice House at the Cedar County Fair!

Then on Saturday Dee and I got to meet Lonestar, hand out Wolf koozies and introduce the band! They had a great show! See more pictures by clicking the photo of the band above.

Sunday I took pictures and mowed - nothing too exciting. But I woke this morning to quite the weather system…and a rather pretty rainbow!

the fair is going on right now and I will be heading that way in about an hour! Will be on hand today from 2-5pm with Sarah Buxton and Gotcha Covered performing tonight! Then tomorrow night Dee and I get to be on hand to introduce Lonestar! Hope to see you there! ~ erin

The band that played our wedding was at Riverside Park last night and I went down to watch! They are a great group of guys who sounded really good last night - plus my Dad is the drummer. (He is such a rock star…or I should probably say polka star

I am going to post a video of the first song Jon and I danced to as Mr & Mrs. The thing about it is - this song is not something you will hear at just any dance, played by just any band or are even able to request on the radio. Our song is a rare thing to hear - so when I have the chance I really enjoy listening! Too bad Jon wasn’t there so we could dance! If you know the tune…feel free to sing along!
